  • What insurances do you accept?

At the moment, we are accepting client's with HMSA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HMAA, UHA, and Tricare.

 

Please remember that having insurance does not guarantee that your insurance will cover the services we provide. We would advise that you follow up with your insurance to ensure these services are covered as it will be your responsibility to pay for the amount that is not covered.

 

  • Do you accept out-of-pocket clients?

Kahua works with a sliding scale so please reach out directly for rates.

 

  • What do I need to bring my first appointment?

Please bring your medical identification card as well as a photo ID.

 

  • How do you collect payment?

Co-payments or deductibles are collected prior to session by cash, check, or credit.

 

For appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or "no call no show" cancellations, there will be a $50 fee as this is not covered by insurance. First cancellation is waived.

  • How long are sessions?

Sessions typically run for 45-55 minutes.

 

  • What can I expect when it comes to parking?

Great news, parking is free! We are located in the Pearl City Business Plaza with a very big lot and plenty of parking. You may park on the ground floor or drive underneath for covered parking.
